Let’s Work Together!
Developmental Edit
This is the big picture level of editing. I will read your manuscript and help find both its strengths and weaknesses. I will look closely at plot, character, setting, worldbuilding, and your story’s themes to help you determine what’s working, what isn’t, and what we can strengthen and polish to engage and excite your future readers.
You will receive a 5-10 page edit letter of personalized feedback about the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript and suggestions on how to best bring your manuscript to the next level. You will also receive comments in the manuscript to see in-line reactions to story points. The timeline for a developmental edit is usually 4-6 weeks, but I am flexible to work with your schedule.

Editorial Assessment
If you’re not ready for a deep dive into your project, an editorial assessment is a great way to get high-level feedback on your manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses. Considered a “light developmental edit,” an editorial assessment lets you get personalized feedback on your story before you polish your final draft. An editorial assessment includes a 4-6 page edit letter that highlights what’s working, what isn’t, and what your best next steps are to strengthen the narrative. The timeline for an editorial assessment is usually 3-5 weeks, but I’m always open to discuss flexibility if it’s a concern. An editorial assesment starts at
